Stefanie originally hails from the piney woods of East Texas, but lived in northern New Mexico for eight years prior to becoming a resident of Colorado in January 2017. She graduated summa cum laude from New Mexico Highlands University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in December 2015 and completed the uniform CPA exams in December 2016. She is a certified public accountant in the States of Colorado and New Mexico and a member of the AICPA.
Prior to starting her own firm, Stefanie spent the better part of a decade working in public accounting gaining experience in financial reporting, payroll management, tax, audit and non-profit and governmental accounting. She most recently ended her tenure as the financial controller of a manufacturing company. Stefanie’s previous background in sales, the retail food industry, and medical field all lend to her belief that mindful, hands-on client service is of the utmost importance in growing and maintaining long-term business relationships.
When she isn’t working, Stefanie is living life to the fullest with her husband, son & boxer. She enjoys cooking, reading, DIY projects, yoga, hiking, seeing new places, spending time with friends and so much more.
